Do you believe
in love at first sight?
The question
awakened me from my deep thoughts.........I impulsively look around myself and
found no one to get assured that question was asked to me..........
I looked at the
girl standing next to me ........... The question was repeated once more
time... Do you believe in love at first sight? I hesitate and replied
“No...not....never...na”.
A smile appeared
on her face and spread all over the restaurant. It was a cold night and I was
having my dinner sitting in the corner table alone and was reading an email on
my phone.....I did not notice from where and when she came to my
table............ She was looking stunning in her black dinner dress.......I had
not seen such a beauty before, the beauty with style and elegance, a blend of
innocence and cleverness... bright eyes, smiling face............. My mind was
now agreed fifty percent believe in her question...
She sat down on
sofa without my permission........ I thought she may have guessed that my eyes
had permitted her and my heart has given her full possession to control me with
her beauty and attitude..............
Do you believe
in love at first sight? I asked her.......... She took a deep breath. Yes, I do,
she replied.... that is why I am here she told me... I stared around her................
and found no one with her........... I inquired why she was alone if she was
invited by someone at dinner.....
She said, No one
had invited her....... Love does not need love in return....... It is one-way
traffic ..... The policy and philosophy of love is to give not to demand......
I argued her
that I believe for stronger bounding one should be attached with each other
through the cycle of caring and sharing relation.... and it can’t be completed
alone........ To me, the concept of love is to give and take relation.
She replied,
when you love someone, don’t demand anything in return, and give your best to
your love. Desiring something in return is a business, not love...
Her answer made
me speechless....... I pointed at her dress and asked for her presence at the
dinner alone.... and............ is this for love ? .... For a single-sided
love, I added bitter remarks.... and when this first sight love was
started.......
Just now, and my
love at first sight phenomena is started right now....... She replied. She told me she visited this restaurant often
and she was having a belief that one day she would found someone to give her’ the best part of love.
She added that
it is natural and spiritual instinct, her love will automatically and mechanically attracted towards her...
And who is that
luckiest man?................ I inquired. She gazed me and I felt that her eyes
had penetrated in me.......... She said nothing in reply to my question and
left my table exit through the restaurant’s door...
Next day I found
myself standing in front of a mirror to get prepared for the dinner although no
one has invited me........my mind was repeating “Love is natural and spiritual instinct;
love will automatically and mechanically found its ways”.... in a couple of
minutes I was headed towards that restaurant where I met with her last night.
