Story No. 8 : Hector, small adventurer submarine (Inspired Story)

Once upon a time, there was a submarine that lived at the bottom of the ocean, more than 7000 meters deep. Hector, the submarine had never had much company. He had gotten used to this world of silence. But in recent times, the few living animals around him had completely disappeared. Sad and unhappy, he decides one fine morning to go up to the surface of the ocean with the hope of meeting people there.

- Wow! he does when he finally arrives at his destination. I have never seen so many colours. It's beautiful!

Hector is now surrounded by a crowd of multicoloured tropical fish. Clownfish, lionfish, surgeonfish, turtles ... the little submarine no longer know where to turn!
Suddenly, a deafening noise fate of his wonder. Someone is knocking on his hull.

- Anyone in there? asks Alfred, one of the little clownfish.
- Yes, there's me, replies the very edgy submarine. But stop banging on my shell! You break my ears.
- Sorry. I didn't think it was painful ... answers the little fish.

Alfred, very curious, wants to know a little more about this stranger.

- Where are you from? he asks.
- I don't want to answer you, Hector decides to end the discussion.
- Come on, be nice. It is not every day that we see someone arriving. Besides, you don't look like other fish.
- If you want to know, I come from far away ... From the depths of the Caribbean Sea. I'm a submarine and my name is Hector.
- Ah! Well, it's Alfred.
- What brings you here Hector? Ask Alfred
- I decided to go back to the surface because I was bored all alone at the bottom of the ocean.
- Ah well here, it will not happen to you! There is no shortage of company. If you want, I can show you around, suggests the little fish.

This is how Alfred and Hector set off together to explore the reefs. The clownfish sneak around as much as it wants. For the submarine, it is another matter. With its metal carcass, it bumps easily. It must, therefore, be very careful not to break any coral.
Suddenly, Alfred sees a huge shadow approaching them. He then begins to panic.

- Hector, quickly, we must leave, alerts Alfred.
- Why? Hector surprised. I'm just starting to have fun.
- Uh, maybe you should turn around, advises the little fish

At this moment, the submarine sees a gigantic barracuda tumbling at full speed. Panicked, Alfred fled as quickly as he could, but the danger was there.

- I don't want to end up in her stomach! Help! yells the exhausted little fish.
- Quick, I have an idea. Come aboard, suggests Hector.

The little clownfish gathers all its strength and climbs aboard the submarine. The barracuda hits Hector hard, which resists shock!

- Phew, I escaped it beautiful, said the little relieved fish.
- Yes, two more seconds and you ended up between his teeth! confirms Hector.

Finally safe and sound, Alfred moved into the submarine's control room.

- I don't know how I can thank you, said the little admiring fish.
- I have an idea, replies Hector too happy to have made himself useful. We could become friends and go explore the ocean floor together.
- Very good idea, confirms Alfred full of enthusiasm.

And this is how Hector and Alfred now sail together all over the planet.
